 YOUTH LEADER ELECTIONS  
     During the Monday February 27 Troop Meeting the scouts will elect their new youth leadership for the March-August term.  The election will include the Senior Patrol Leader and all individual Patrol Leaders.
   Check out the youth leadership positions on the SCOUTS page of this web site for information about each position, elected and appointed.  What position do you want?


 WINTER REWARD CAMP 
     
     In the early stages we have our annual "reward" cabin camp planned for the weekend of March 23-25 at historic Manatoc Scout Reservation.
     The "reward" is where those scouts who attended both the December and January Polar Bear camp outs, completing the 4 day/night Polar Bear Award may CABIN CAMP.  If you missed a camp and want to finish your 4 day/night Polar Bear requirement you may camp nearby in a tent.  ALL scouts should attend the fellowship, camp in your choice, either the cabin or tent.
     More "reward"...this is the one camp outing each year where the Troop 101 adult leaders will create the menu, secure the food, and do the cooking!  Your reward weekend for camping and cooking outdoors all year long.  The cost for this event is $20 which includes all food and the campsite w/ cabins.
     Plan now to attend this reward event.  Keep watch here and at troop meetings for more details as we get closer to this different and fun opportunity.

 GOOD TURN CLEANUP  
     Each year just before Easter the scouts volunteer for a good turn cleanup project at our church sponsor.  This year it falls on Saturday March 31 from 9am to 2pm with a light lunch provided.
     Come for the day or just an hour, anytime you're available.  We appreciate the help to cleanup the ravages of the year and the winter around the church.


 LAW MERIT BADGE DAY 
     
The annual Buckeye Council Law Merit Badge Day day is Friday April 6 in downtown Canton.  This is a 'on your own' event opportunity.  You can earn the Law Merit Badge in one day by attending this event. 
     Registration is limited and closes March 28.  Register NOW!  The cost is only $10. No prerequisites, only your uniform and reading the MB book before attending the class is required.


 HOF MERIT BADGE CONFERENCE 
     Here is your own opportunity to get a start on three merit badges at the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Sports, Athletics, and Personal Fitness merit badges will be offered by Buckeye Council, 
Saturday April 28 along with the opportunity to tour the HOF.
     The event costs $15 and runs from 9:00 to 1:15 followed by your own visit to the HOF. It requires you to wear your uniform and take your medical form with you (your scoutmaster has this). In return you attend the MB sessions, visit the HOF and get a patch.
