We are Boy Scouts of America Troop 101 located in Alliance, Ohio. A multi-denominational troop sponsored by the Union Avenue United Methodist Church. We welcome any boy age 11 through 17, or age 10 if completed the 5th grade, or completed the Cub Scout Arrow of Light. Parents are also welcome to join as a involved Scout Parent. The mission of the Boy Scouts of America is to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the scout oath and law. Across the country, scouting makes a difference. We do this by having fun with a purpose.
Troop 101 meets weekly on Monday night from 6:30pm to 8:00pm, in our Scout Room at the Union Avenue United Methodist Church, 1843 South Union Avenue. One block north of Mt. Union Square, in Alliance. Use the north parking lot entrance. Here is a MAP to our meeting place.
Interested youth and parents are always welcome and invited to visit. Due to our varied program and activities, meeting times and locations could change from time to time. During the summer we meet outdoors. Please see our CALENDAR and ACTIVITIES page for current information.
Before joining any Scout Troop, a visit should be made to other troops in your area. Pick the troop that meets your expectations of friendship, fellowship, program, leadership, advancement, and sets a good example for your son.
